CEFARD is currently compiling a list of individuals and organisations primarily from the field of agriculture
and development, also professionals from different discipline and background with expert knowledge and
experience in their chosen career.

Requirements

* Expert knowledge and experience in Agriculture, Development, Administration,  Project Management
   and related disciplines.

* Good track record and ability to exhibit creative innovations and ideas related to development projects.

* Leaders and Directors of community development organizations that have made indelible and positive
   impact in their communities.

* Research Fellows and youth leaders with special interest in community development programmes/projects.

Volunteers

Limited positions are available for local and international volunteers in CEFARD.

* Volunteers must be 18(+) years old and must have completed at least high school education.

* Must be legally resident in Canada for Canadian volunteers. International volunteers must also 
   reside legally in the their chosen countries.

* For vounteers in Canada, ability to speak, read and write both English and French languages is
   an added advantage.

* Must have a reasonable level of human relations.

* Must have a passion to assist the less priviledged.

* Must be computer literate.

Administrative Assistant

Location:-              Head Office, Toronto, Canada

Responsible to:     Programme Director

Duration:              Two(2) years

Salary:                  Negotiable

Job Description:

  *  Corresponding with members and donor agencies

  *  Answering phone calls and general office work

  *  Coordinating the activities of volunteers

  *  Data entry and record keeping

  *  Planning and maintaining of CEFARD programmes and events

  *  Other activities as assigned

Qualification & Skills

  *  Candidate must possess at least two(2) years college education in  
      Secretariat Studies, Business Administration and Other Related fields.

  *  At least one year experience in administrative duties

  *  Must be versatile in the use of computer application, especially Word, Excel, Powerpoint

  *  Must possess a high level of human relation

  *  Ability to read, write and speak fluently both English and French languages

  *  Must possess and maintain valid driver's licence
